The other day, Beth, Megan (Beth's old room mate), and I all went to the tulip festival in Mount Vernon. I must say that it was a great deal better last year. Last year there was only one place that chose to charge for entrance (we weren't too happy to hear about that). This year, there wasn't a place that didn't charge. I fear that soon all the small festivals that were fun because they were easy to go to and free, will go the way of Bumbershoot (a local music festival) and go corporate.
